Basketball API - Multigroup Stage

The plugin cannot independently determine the correct structure for a tournament with a group stage consisting of multiple groups.

In such cases, creating all the groups and adding the teams yourself MANUALLY is necessary!!

1. Determine the structure of the tournament

Click on Wikipedia Search (2) to find out the structure.

Find the proper article and check the tournament structure.

I also recommend checking the API game list.

Create League and Season if needed

Create new Tournament

When group stage has more than one group, you should create all them manually with teams.

Use Wikipedia as a reference. Some API team names can differ a bit from wiki names.

Then create a Knockout Stage with rounds (without teams) and Save.

4. Create Import Configuration

Now it's time to create Import Configuration

Select your tournament and click Next Step.

Map rounds and update structure.

5. Import API Data

6. Create Standings (optional)

Go to the Standings >> Add New.
Select Tournament + Group and click "Select Group & Continue"

Use Column BUilder to create table structure you want.

You can add table colors and table notes

Save and use "Clone" options for the other groups.
