Export Data Tools
It would be nice to have a tool to export data in csv format.
Very similar to "Data Import Tools" for exporting e.g.
the list of games in a league
the data from one or more matches
list of referees
list of players
list of fields in a league
etc...

Yes but export player has no options.
Would need options to decide which columns to have in csv as in data import
Unfortunately, there is no plan to do it because you can open exported data in MS Excel and remove unnecessary columns.

Other types of exports besides players would be useful...

I need to export all staff members. Will you develop the ability to export this and other data besides players?

there is an WordPress export function under Tools, there you can exportt Staff as xml. Maybe not the easiest way but at least you get all data and maybe some more that might be interesting.
