Set the competition as Friendly but player stats still show match data?

Trần Đức Nam 3 days ago in Competition updated by Andrei S. (Developer) 3 days ago 3

Hi everyone, I’m running into a weird issue.

I created a tournament and set it to Friendly, but the matches, the player statistics still show the match data (appearances, goals, assists, etc.).

Aren’t friendly matches supposed to not count toward official stats? Or did I set something up wrong?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello

Stats are skipped per GAME, not per competition. Each game stores its own status, so the stage setting alone is not enough.

So first - did you create those games before or after you set the stage to "Friendly"?

If you set it after, open the competition editor. There is an orange warning above the stage saying "You have Games with incorrect status". Click the "Fix" button next to it - that switches all games of the stage to "Friendly".

If the warning is not there and the stats are still shown, please open a PRIVATE ticket and attach screenshots of the blocks where you see the friendly data (player page, stats tables, etc.). I need to know exactly which blocks to check.

Thank you for your reply.

First of all, I did see the “Fix” button. I clicked it, but nothing changed.

I also tried deleting everything and creating the competition from scratch — the result is still the same.

Here are screenshots of how I created the competition

and the stats that appear in the Stats Totals on the Player page.

Note: I noticed that in shortcode [anwpfl-players type="scorers"], the data from those matches is not counted.

Your setup is correct.

Those matches are already stored as friendly (that's why "Fix" had nothing to fix), but the player Stats table wasn't checking that flag.

Fixed now, ships in the next release.
