v0.18.4 - Testing
🚀 * New Feature - Hidden clubs and players.
Mark a club or player as Hidden and it stays in standings, stats and lineups as plain text, while its own page returns 404 and it drops out of search. Built for single-team sites - import a whole league without publishing a page for every opponent. A new Visibility page under Settings & Tools does the whole setup in one step.
--- Standing tables ---
🟢 * Add - New columns: points per game, win percentage, goals for and against per game, plus any club match stat - corners, cards, fouls, offsides, shots, clean sheets and your own custom stats - as a season total or a per-game average.
🟢 * Add - Stat columns work on API-imported tables too, once you set the new Game Date Range on the table.
🟢 * Add - Global columns. Pick the columns and their order once in Settings > Display > Standing and every table set to "Use Global Settings" follows it.
🔵 * Update - Columns are now one list per layout plus a pin, instead of five lists for five screen widths. Pin what must never disappear; a narrow screen drops the rest until the table fits.
🟢 * Add - Optional caching for rendered standing tables. Worth switching on for pages that show a lot of tables at once. Off by default.
🟡 * Performance - Competition pages load standing tables one tab at a time, and team pages fetch the full table only when you press "Show full table". On a 10-table stage that's 40 KB instead of 326 KB.
🟢 * Add - Standing tables are recalculated after a Games import. Affected tables are flagged and a "Recalculate now" bar updates them all, one at a time so a big league doesn't time out.
🟢 * Add - "Zone Color Style" - a position color can show as a bar on the edge of the cell instead of filling it.
🟢 * Add - "Link team names" option, so team names render as plain text when club pages aren't published.
🔵 * Update - The Standing Table editor opens on the table itself, with its settings in one strip above it. Ranking rules and columns can be reordered with buttons, not only by dragging.
🔵 * Update - Conferences are now picked from a dropdown instead of a free-text box, with a "Manage conferences" panel to add, rename and remove them. Clubs you haven't assigned group under "Other" instead of blanking the table.
--- Layout Builder ---
🟢 * Add - Around 270 more labels can be edited in Settings & Tools > Text - competition and player block labels, the filter bar, the Standings block, and the short column headers. Most were fixed English before, whatever your site was translated to.
🟠* Fix - A block with more standing tables than fit the screen clipped the extra tabs with no way to reach them. The strip now fades and shows arrow buttons.
🟠* Fix - A custom stat column built with a formula showed a different number in the player Game Log than everywhere else - assists, minutes played, penalty goals and own goals were read as zero.
--- API Import ---
🟢 * Add - "Broken Player References" tool in the Toolkit. Deleting a player leaves its ID behind in lineups, events, formations and squads, where it shows as nothing at all. The tool finds them and either moves them to a player you pick or strips them out.
🟢 * Add - "Hide new teams and players created by an import" option, so a single-team site stays clean after every import.
🟠* Fix - Merging two players left their goals and cards behind on API-imported matches, and a merged player stopped being imported at all if the surviving player was later deleted. Both fixed.
🟠* Fix - Team form on API-imported standings showed every match as a loss, and Conferences Support was switched back off every time the import refreshed the table.
--- Everything else ---
🟠* Fix - Club and player names whose page isn't published rendered an empty link - clickable, but going nowhere. They're plain text now, in standings, squads, lineups, events and the live search.
🟠* Fix - WordPress 7.1 gives the editor canvas a frame of its own, so block previews lost their styling, their icons and their sliders and countdowns. They all work in the editor again.
🟢 * Add - CSV export for Clubs, Stadiums, Staff and Referees, with the same columns as the matching Batch Import tab - export, edit in a spreadsheet, paste back.
🟢 * Add - Block Performance Profiling in Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics, logging render time, memory and queries per block to Query Monitor.
🔵 * Update - WordPress 6.5 is now the minimum required version. The old 5.9 figure was never accurate.
🟢 * Add - Documentation for every shortcode is now on anwp.pro - 34 new pages, each with its full attribute list.
