Existing API's have some cons. Let's try a new one.

I suggest creating a feature to add and update players by searching for a team or searching for a team by country, and choosing to update players by season.

Players in teams are updated through competitions. new

So there are some players missing.

Each competition will have a selected list of players.

Updating and adding the list of players to the team according to the season will bring the full list of players

However when updating the api, and looking for the England league 2, there hasnt been an update, when i contacted https://www.api-football.com/ they are telling me its there is ID42, however there is no way of inputting an ID for the football league in the  FL API Import. 

Not sure what to do as our client is chasing.

I have two important questions; 

What's the frequncy the plugin is getting the fresh data from the api? seems like im not getting the latest data to my staging website. I guess it's about 'traffic'? how can I force it to make sure all works well.

Somtimes I have 'lineups' sometimes no. That's weird.

Another question, how can I import all leagues/matchs not manually? for example, 2025-2026 etc..? how can i do that?

Is it possible to import stuff from the API a bit faster?

As far as I see it the games are imported in batches of 5 and the finished games approx. in batches of 3.

Is it possible to set this number per batch higher to import games (and therefor whole leagues) faster?

I purchased the anwup pro plugin and I am using api-football.com API with free plan and I did not see any option or American National Football League (NFL). Is there a way to import data for it or I have to purchase new subscription for it.
